Our Business Technology program equips students with the essential skills needed in offices, banks, hotels, and beyond. From managing emails and social media accounts to organizing effective meetings, our program covers a wide spectrum of tasks and skills to prepare students for their careers in business.

Post-Graduate Opportunities

Upon completion of our program, students may continue their education at a 2- to 4-year college, which would bring more opportunities and higher salaries; or enter the workforce in clerical roles in business or healthcare.

Careers

Entry-level business and clerical positions usually require a high school diploma and basic computer skills. Advancement to upper management usually requires a college degree and experience. Specialized work such as accounting, event planning, or management generally requires a 2- to 4-year degree. Some careers such as CPA, insurance agent, finance, or Real Estate agent also require passing exams.

Earning potential varies based on specialization and education level. The average salary in Massachusetts for clerical office workers is $44,740. Experience and special skills bring higher salaries. College degrees may be required for management and bring salaries that range from $62,290 for human resource specialists to $94,170 for finance managers.
