Welcome Back!
Dear QHS Students and Families,
The beginning of the 2023-2024 school year is right around the corner and we are excited to
welcome students and staff back to QHS for an awesome year ahead. Much time has been
spent this summer in preparation for a year where we will “BE GREAT” in our teaching and
learning expectations. Our goal is for each of us to be Genuine and Generous, Respectful and
Responsible, Encouraging, Ambitious, and a Team Player in all that we do here at QHS.
In order to maximize each student’s learning potential, we ask that students prepare themselves
to be challenged by the high quality of instruction from our teachers. Our job is to equip our
students with the necessary skills to demonstrate both academic and civic responsibility within
this community and beyond.
We are excited about our One School, One Book reading program for the 2023-2024
school year! One School, One Book is a program designed to create a shared reading
experience within our high school community, and to allow teachers, families, and
students to have conversations about what they are reading. Please click on the link for

On Thursday, August 31st @ 6:00pm we will be hosting a Parent Info Night in the QHS
auditorium to provide families with a more in depth overview of our expectations for this
upcoming year. We hope to see you there!
